POMME MUSKIE GUIDE SERVICE

6-23-17

The lake today is 842.25' a foot and a quarter higher than what they are going to hold it at all year, which is 842, normal lake level is 839.  They have been stopping and starting the flow to assist the conservation with white water rescue training in the settling pool below the dam.  Fishing has suffered some but it should pick up again this coming week.  I don't know where the white bass went but they have not been seen for quite a while.  I sure hope we did not have another white bass kill off when we had the high water.  Walleye have been doing real well up until Tuesday and then they shut down but with a more stable water level they should come around again.
